All courses offered on this site meet minimum standards requirements for "instructor led",  which simply means you can get all required hours here.

According to Michelle Adams, Program Specialist with DFPS after a reveiw from Cristy Scott with The Learning Destination she states as follows:

"I reviewed the website again, and noted that activities have been added for each chapter and a certificate may now be printed after successful completion of the course and exam.  Directions to attach the written activity to the certificate will provide sufficient documentation for the completion of a module and the clock hours awarded to each module.  These added features will ensure the training complies with minimum standard requirements for caregiver training.

The opportunity to communicate with an "instructor" now exists with the addition of a contact number and e-mail address of a child-care expert.  With this update, the computer based training website may be considered as instructor-led training.
